All our properties are located in the 19th Ward--a unique neighborhood sandwiched between UR and ROC and easily accessed from UR via the footbridge.

 

Located in Rochester’s Southwest quadrant, the 19th Ward is the city’s largest neighborhood, home to around 20,000 people. Often described as “a small town within a big city,” the 19th Ward is known for its strong sense of community. Residents, or "Warders," are deeply connected to their neighborhood and are proud of its racial and economic diversity.

 

Life here is lively and community-driven, with neighbors gathering at local spots like coffee shops, the Arnett Library, the Westside Farmer’s Market, and block parties. The 19th Ward's close proximity to the University of Rochester brings a unique dynamic to the area, with students, faculty, and the university's expanding presence contributing to the neighborhood's culture. While some residents appreciate the positive influence of the university, others view its impact with caution, reflecting a range of perspectives within the community.
